Their Story:
My Son and his fiance met on October 15th, 2010. They both love the ocean, love to surf, and spend a lot of time at the beach in Juno Beach, Fl.
where Jay was raised and our family still lives.
Jay decided to ask Jackie to marry him on the beach on the anniversary of the day they met. He made a huge heart out of seaweed in the sand which included flowers and the words "Will you marry me?" inside the heart. Jay made a plan to take Jackie to a restaurant nearby and as they had dinner, he asked me to call him and tell him that I was on the beach and found baby turtles that had just hatched (as I often did). He asked her if she wanted to go to see them after dinner. As he led her down towards the water by moonlight, she found the beautiful huge heart made of seaweed and flowers.
She said "Look!...Someone made a heart"...Jay got down on one knee and told her that he never knew one year ago on that day that he would meet someone whom he would want to spend the rest of his life with...She said YES and she said that she would be the best wife ever!
